Chris Manning:
Stout Steaks
2- 12 ounce NY Strip Steaks
1 cup sliced onions
1 Tsp minced garlic
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup worcesteshire sauce
2 Tblsp olive oil
1 Tsp salt
1 Tbslp cracked black pepper
1 ½ cups (12 ounces) Guiness Stout Ale
In a shallow pan, mist together the sugar, garlic, salt, pepper and olive oil. Blend in the worcesteshire sauce, stout ale and onions. Add the steaks to the marinade making sure their covered. Marinate overnight and grill for 3-4 minutes on a very hot grill. This recipe works well with pork and venison as well.
