Cranberry Pear Relish

1 – 12oz. pkg. fresh cranberries

2 pears

1 cup sugar

¼ cup rum, rye or bourbon

1 small lemon, quartered

 

Add all of the ingredients together in a food processor and process until a smooth “relish type” consistency is achieved.  Chill for one hour.  Serve as a condiment with turkey, chicken or pork.
