“GREEK STYLE STEAK & SALAD”

 

 

 

FOR THE STEAK           

4 Tbsp. of Brown Sugar

2 Tbsp. of Salt

2 Tbsp. of Ground Black Pepper

2 Cloves of Garlic Minced

1 Tbsp. Minced Fresh Oregano

1 Tbsp. Minced Fresh Chives

Juice of One Lemon

4 – 10oz. Strip Steaks

 

Minced Chives for garnish.

 Blend the first six ingredients together and rub all over the steaks. Drizzle the juice of one lemon over the steaks and marinate overnight.  Grill to desired temperature and serve with Greek style salad.

 

 

FOR THE SALAD

1 ½ Cups of Olive Oil

½ Cup of Balsamic Vinegar

½ Cup of crumbled Feta Cheese

½ Cup grated Parmesan Cheese

1 Clove of Garlic minced

Juice from ½ of a Lemon

2 Tbsp. of Fresh chopped Oregano, salt, and pepper to taste

1 Large Head of Romaine Lettuce, diced course (salad style).

1 Cup each of diced Tomatoes, Cucumber, and Celery.

½ Cup each Ripe Black and Spanish Olives.

¼ Cup each Feta & Parmesan to garnish.

 

Combine the first eight ingredients to make the Salad Dressing.  Arrange the remaining ingredients on four salad plates.  Drizzle with dressing and garnish with cheese.
