Du-Yeon Korean Steak
TV7 Morning Show April 21, 2006
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup red wine vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tbsp. red chile paste
1 tbsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. ground coriander
1 tbsp. sesame oil
1 tbsp. olive oil
½ cup fresh minced
scallions
4 – 8oz. New York Strip
steaks
Mix the first 10
ingredients in a 1 qt. mixing bowl. Place the steaks in a 1 gallon Ziploc
bag. Blend the marinade; making sure the brown sugar is dissolved and pour
into the Ziploc bag. Let marinade at least 8 hours. Grill steaks to
desired temperature and serve over stir-fried veggies.
