Potato Gateau

TV 7 Morning Show-December 16, 2005 

 

4 cups cooked diced potatoes

1 cup diced onion

1 cup cooked diced beef

1 cup cooked diced chicken

1 cup diced ham

2 cups shredded Swiss cheese

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

3 eggs beaten

3 tblsp. Dijon mustard

3 cups heavy cream

fresh chopped parsley to garnish 

In a 10x12x3 baking pan, layer half of the first seven ingredients.  Repeat the process using up those ingredients. Mix together the eggs, mustard and cream.  Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes and let stand ten minutes.  Bake the “gateau” covered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.  Remove cover and bake 15 minutes until brown.
