Turkey-Day
Leftovers-Brunswick Stew
TV 7 Morning Show-November 25, 2005
1½ cups chicken stock
1 cup diced onion
1 cup diced celery
1 cup diced carrot
1 cup whole kernel corn
1 cup diced green pepper
1 cup diced ham
1 cup diced fresh tomatoes
1 cup cooked lima beans
4 cups cooked diced turkey meat
2 cups turkey gravy
4-5 dashes hot sauce
biscuits or rice to serve over
In an eight quart stock
pot add the first seven ingredients. On medium to high heat cook until the
onion begins to wilt. Add the remaining ingredients and turn the heat to
low. Allow to simmer for 15-20 minutes stirring every five minutes. Serve
over biscuits and or rice.
