Sausage, Apple & Shrimp Stuffing

TV 7 Morning Show-November 18, 2005 

 

1 Pkg. Uncle Ben’s cornbread stuffing mix

2-4oz. Cajun sausage links, diced

1 cup onion diced

1 cup celery diced

1 cup carrots diced

2 Granny Smith apples, cored & diced

½ lb. peeled & deveined 40-50 count shrimp 

In an eight quart sauce pan, start with the water, butter and seasoning packet.  Bring to a boil and add the sausage, veggies, apples and shrimp.  Cook for eight to ten minutes and add the cornbread.  Finish stuffing according to package instructions.  This stuffing is great for chicken, pork or a holiday bird.
