Bloody Mary Steaks
TV 7 Morning Show - April 29, 2005
1 tsp. olive oil
½ cup diced onion
½ cup diced celery
½ cup diced red bell pepper
½ cup diced green bell pepper
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 tsp. horseradish
Dash of hot sauce
Dash of worcesteshire sauce
3 oz. vodka
1 ½ cups bloody mary mix
Juice of half a lemon and lime
6 – 8oz. steaks, broiled to your desired temperature
In a large sauté pan, add the olive oil on high heat. Add the
next four ingredients and sauté until veggies start to brown. Add
the next five ingredients and flambé the vodka. Add the Bloody
Mary mix, and the lemon and lime juice. Simmer for 2-3 minutes and serve
over steaks.
