Super Bowl Sauces
TV 7 Morning Show — February 4, 2005


Carolina Gold Sauce
3 cups white vinegar
1 cup salad mustard
1 cup sweet pickle relish
1 cup hot sauce
½ cup water
½ cup sugar
1 tblsp. crushed red pepper
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tblsp. salt
1 tblsp. ground black pepper

Combine all of the ingredients into a 2 quart sauce pan and simmer for one hour, stir every ten minutes. This sauce is great with pulled pork or fried chicken wings.

Cranberry Horseradish Sauce
3 cups jellied cranberry sauce
1 cup strawberry jam
¼ cup prepared horseradish
1 jalapeño pepper seeded and minced fine
juice of one orange

Place all of the ingredients in a food processor and blend till smooth. Serve with roasted turkey, pork or chicken.
