CAMPUS SUPERVISOR

The Children’s Home is accepting applications for a full-time Campus Supervisor.  The major responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following: supervising cottages and staff; ensuring policy and program compliance; staff scheduling and mentoring.  An Associates Degree in Human Services or related field is required.  Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Candidate must have at least 5 plus years of supervisory experience in a human service setting.  Excellent communication skills are essential for this position. Must have proven leadership abilities and be self-motivated.  This position requires an individual who can work a flexible workweek. 

COUNSELOR

The Children’s Home is accepting applications for a full-time counselor.   A Licensed Master Social Worker with CASAC certification is required.  A Licensed Clinical Social Worker is preferred.  The major responsibilities of this position include: providing individual and group counseling to children and adolescents in our Residential & Community-Based Programs; developing a therapeutic treatment plan for individual caseload; assessing the level of care and making recommendations for children placed in Diagnostic Program; providing clinical input in a team setting via staff meetings; treatment team meetings; and service plan reviews; and working with community-based psychiatrist in medication management.  Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on family therapy and/or assessing systems; along with proficient time management and communication skills (oral and written) are essential for this position. 

MARKETING COORDINATOR


Immediate opening for a full-time Marketing Coordinator.  We are a progressive agency looking for a motivated, dynamic and energetic individual to join our team.  This person will coordinate the development of all agency marketing materials to include website, videos, newsletters and brochures; develop and write all press releases and articles for media; develop, organize and supervise all agency fundraisers and company events. A Bachelors Degree in Marketing, PR or related field is required along with a minimum of 5 years marketing experience.  Applicant must have proficient computer and internet skills.  Must be a self-starter, possess excellent organizational and communication (oral and written) skills and have the ability to manage, supervise, and coordinate marketing and fundraising activities both inside and outside the agency.

DIRECT CARE STAFF

Positions open for responsible adults to be role models for youth ages 10-17.  Minimum requirements are a high school diploma and a valid NYS driver’s license with a good driving record. We are looking for individuals with proven leadership abilities who can help teach, mentor and interact with adolescents.  Must have a positive attitude and be self-motivated. Starting salary is $10.79 to $11.86 per hour depending on education.  Applicants must be able to work evenings, weekends and overnights. 

LICENSED SOCIAL WORKERS

We are accepting applications for full-time Licensed Master Social Workers and/or Licensed Clinical Social Workers. The major responsibilities of this position include: providing individual and group counseling to children and adolescents in our Residential & Community-Based Programs; developing a therapeutic treatment plan for individual caseload; assessing the level of care and making recommendations for children placed in Diagnostic Program; providing clinical input in a team setting via staff meetings; treatment team meetings; and service plan reviews; and working with community-based psychiatrist in medication management. We are looking for candidates who have experience working with, or who are interested in working with, sexually aggressive youth. Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on family therapy and/or assessing systems; along with proficient time management and communication skills (oral and written) are essential for this position.
